Is EffHVAC a Web based service?
Yes. Internet access is all you need. There is no software, upgrades or downloading required.
Can technicians who don't have Internet access benefit?
Yes. They can log chiller data and you can have someone who has Internet access enter the information into the EffHVAC system, or copies of the logs can be sent to EffTec to enter at an additional charge.
What information do I need to get started?
Call 1.866.EffTec1 to receive a EffHVAC Chiller Registration Form. The form comes with step-by step instructions to help you find all the information.
Where do I get the account setup information?
You will find the information on equipment faceplates, manuals, metering devices on the equipment, the utility company and in some cases you will have to go to the manufacturer. For a list of equipment manufacturer’s contact information visit our Resource Center.
How do I calibrate my gauges, meters, displays, and verify flow-rates for accuracy?
Check flow with an inline flow meter and/or delta pressure using a gauge or annubar. Make sure delta temperature gauges ar calibrated. A service company can assist you in calibrating your system. Give us a call to see how we can help.
What information does the monthly report contain?
EffHVAC can generate a monthly report with the click of a button. These reports are detailed, easy to read and extremely informative. They include a detailed chiller summary, monthly and year-to-date operational summaries that show actual dollars lost on energy due to inefficiency. Quick reference graphs make it simple to compare chiller’s performance and costs vs. its design specifications. Download the Sample Reports to see exactly what they offer.
What happens to the data when I click submit?
The data is processed through the EffHVAC program, creating efficiency reports. It is then stored for retrieval in creating “trend analysis” and for future benchmarking. Any entry can be accessed through the Calendar Page.
